ABOUT EDIE

Hi I’m Edie, I’m a therapist, sensitive empath, creative and lover of nature. I dwell between Melbourne (Naarm) and Northern NSW (Bundjalung). On my days off you will find me reading in nature, floating in bodies of water, painting, cooking, listening to music and loving my community. Want to hear about my journey into this work? read on.

I've always been drawn to mystery; curious about people, their inner worlds, and the stories that often go unspoken. Even as a child, I found myself watching, listening, and wondering. In a world that often hides what’s tender or difficult, I feel called to gently uncover those places and learn from them. Though I came to this work by chance, it quickly became clear it was where I was meant to be; deeply meaningful and rich with purpose. I walk this path with gratitude for the teachers, mentors, and loved ones whose wisdom has guided and shaped me.

My work weaves together formal training and lived experience, shaped by years of study and a personal journey of healing and self-enquiry. Over five years, I’ve studied Sexology, Menstrual Cycle Awareness, Birth Work, Somatics, Psychotherapy, Embodiment, Art, and Mentoring—always with a focus on trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and anti-pathologizing approaches that create a solid, supportive foundation for growth.

I work with a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, overwhelm, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, sexual pain, shame, and early life wounds. At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for the therapeutic relationship and the unique unfolding of each person’s path. I believe in each client’s innate wisdom and capacity to heal, and my intention is to offer a safe, compassionate space to explore what feels most tender, complex, or hidden. Together, we create a space grounded in trust, empathy, and acceptance; where all parts of you are welcome.
